i don't mind it to be honest, booked on the mega bus for £24, doesnt leave till 1am so works out ok. Makes no sense to KO that late tho considering Prem games are the sunday

It's arse end up again. The PL shouldn't clash with the FA Cup Final. The FA Cup should take precedence. All well and good the FArce going on about the oldest competition in the world when they royally fuck up the people who will spend their hard-earned and make the thing as much a spectacle as the players. But yet again, the FA wallahs are only concerned with parking their ample arses on first class seats.

It's been known that the Final KO would be after 5 for ages.... so we booked a family room in a travel lodge in town several weeks ago.
Just checked, you can still get rooms in London for £116, which between 4 isn't too bad, a night on the pop in town then liquid brunch the next morning and a kip on train back, a lot more civilised if you ask me....
BTW the FA know the issue about this Kick off time, and from next year it will be 3:00 on it's own date after the premier league finishes, they couldn't do it this year because of the Champs League final - blame Platini for moving that to a Saturday

Apparently League 1 and 2 playoffs are at Wembley the weekend before ECL final (18/19 May) - it's all bollocks!

Totally unrelated to this thread - but the Wife has been watching "Midsomer" and now that awful show "The Following" whilst I have been on Bluemoon all night "Score dodging" the Arsenal v Everton game which I have sky plussed. Just clicked that link and found out the result.
