I think, as a conspiracy theorist, that this new competition has been invented partly to weaken our squad.

Well, I’ll go against the grain and say I use it as a good opportunity to meet up with a few mates from other clubs and spend a few days on the beer wherever we are playing. Was looking forward to the double header of Croatia and Spain but due to some clown mowing a swastika into the pitch in Zagreb that one is behind closed doors so now just going to Malaga and then the train to Seville for a couple of days.

I thought part of the reason this nations league was brought in was to cut down on friendlies,seems to me it’s got even worse,ffs the World Cup has only finished about 2 months ago and already friendlies again,I’ve mentioned it before should do away with qualifying altogether the main teams should just go straight to the World Cup,brazil,Argentina,Belgium,France,Italy,England,Holland,Germany and so forth,the advertisers and sponsors and tv companies only want to see the main countries in there as it’s them that the majority will be watching play.
