Walked around Northern Quarter to see long queues for the tables and seeing as I had to be back for the match I wasn’t in the mood to stand there waiting. We went shopping so the beer wasn’t the main aim of going to townGo on what happened?

The smaller bars only had 3 or 4 groups queuing but when you consider theres 5 tables in the bar that could equate to a 2 hour wait. The Terrace had about 20 people waiting outside the doorHell I thought the queues wouldn't have been that bad but I suppose outside space is limited in town.

Crazy! It's as if, we couldn't have an alcoholic drink during lockdown.
If drinking alcohol was the sole point, then people would just get the cheapest supermarket plonk, sit in front of the TV and get ratted. (Sadly, some do just that I realise... usually whilst loudly comparing the price of four tins of Mild from Bargain Booze to the price in pubs)
The pub is about far more. Even if going to one means being sat in a beer garden in April :D
