Any competition that brings European football to yer ground is fine. Just loved to get in the Europa. And nobody would have bet a penny that we would be where we are now at the time!Reckon Hamburg supporters look back at those days with fond memories too.
The UEFA Cup/Europa League brought some fantastic trips. People take the piss out of these European competitions outside of the Champions League but I'm sure Leicester City fans are loving that they get at least 1 more away European trip (possibly against Roma) this season.

Hit the woodwork twice, such fine margins some things dont change, we seem to hit it nearly every game. Priced the tickets very well IIRC and was a great atmosphere

Anyone at the away leg will remember when Stevie Ireland scored early on we all went mad but the seats in their ground were the ones where the back of the seat moved. Not like here in England
So when people stood on the back of a seat to celebrate it was like dominoes

Brilliant night and amazing crowd, Caicedo was immense, he should of had a hat trick if I remember right, the whole stadium going mental.

Mental trip. Remember getting into the Reeperbahn square at 10am full of blues. Only 11 hours until kick off . Never seen so many pissed up blues. Tickets were a fiver if I remember right brought lots of fans in who'd been priced out and for one night only turned out a proper football crowd from yester year, I thought at the time never a pen but the shout from the Kippax I mean East stand convinced the ref it was. Best atmosphere generated in Etihad bar none.
