I agree,a better traditional keeper but not better the way we play.I'd actually say on the actual goalkeeping side of things he's ahead of Eddie. If he could work on his kicking he may be able to challenge him for his place.
You may, but Pep doesn’t think the same. Edersons footwork is far more important than his goalkeeping.I still would have a great shot stopper over a great pass contributer. Ederson needs to get challenged, because Steffen is way too good to stay as a second goalkeeper.
Think he’ll do it this season but then want to move on, we should get a decent fee for him though.He was excellent yesterday. The only thing I would worry about is, will he be happy just playing in the domestic cups and dead rubber CL matches? He's worthy of a regular first team spot, given his shot stopping abilities. The problem is he's got Ederson ahead of him, who's perfect for the game we play, given his distribution.
