Strong game from Steffán. Could easily be commanding the number one spot at another club in the Prem IMO.
 
I'd actually say on the actual goalkeeping side of things he's ahead of Eddie. If he could work on his kicking he may be able to challenge him for his place.

I agree,a better traditional keeper but not better the way we play.
 
I still would have a great shot stopper over a great pass contributer. Ederson needs to get challenged, because Steffen is way too good to stay as a second goalkeeper.
 
He was excellent yesterday. The only thing I would worry about is, will he be happy just playing in the domestic cups and dead rubber CL matches? He's worthy of a regular first team spot, given his shot stopping abilities. The problem is he's got Ederson ahead of him, who's perfect for the game we play, given his distribution.
 
It's going to be a Martinez case, sooner or later he will ask for a transfer if he doesn't get a chance to be number one at this club.

Think he’ll do it this season but then want to move on, we should get a decent fee for him though.
