Doesn't deserve to be rotated with performances like that. I hope dias can rub off on stones and laporte enough so they can manage without him and we can rotate all 3 fairly. God knows how Ake fits in. I think we will see a back 3/5 more towards the end of the season if all remain fit and in good form.

I genuinely don't see how Ake fits into this team. Even on his best day, he's not better than Stones/Dias or Laporte.

Ake at the mercy of his very own “Johnny Boulders problem”. - everyone thought we needed him, most thought Stones was done. And like that, John thought ‘fuck it, I’m back baby’.

Agree. He is too good a player to be 4th choice. The club tried to overcompensate due to the amount of injuries to centre backs which is understandable. The circumstances have changed due to no fault of his own.

Maybe swap for Saka at arsenal. They need a new defence.

Saka is great,but i see him as a Sterling replacement and i dont think thats happening.......Id be using him as bait for Grealish.

Possibly but that ship has sailed. Maybe the club will hold fire until next season. He could still be needed for the run in but he need to get fit.

I think we need to keep them all next season and see how it pans out, with one of them leaving at the end of 2022. With a bit of luck Harwood Bellis might be ready to come in as fourth choice centre half by then. I doubt we'll be able to keep 4 quality centre halves happy in the long term, but it's a great problem to have for now
