He was actually better than Diaz last night.
How did you come to that Conclusion? Because of the Penalty? Both Dias and Laporte were good yesterday and I'm usually a harsh critic of Laporte.

Dias could have been more alert to the cross from Benzema but before the cross came in from Camavinga both he and Laporte stepped up perfectly to catch Benzema offside and he would have been if we didn't have a Bonehead playing him onside. How was Dias supposed to know his RB would just slowly chase back and not even attempt to stop the cut back to Rodrygo.

The Second goal maybe Laporte and Dias could have been positioned better to head the ball out but first and foremost the attempt to close down the cross from Grealish is poor and Ederson didn't even move to stop the header.

He cost us 3 goals against Spurs in 2019.
He cost us 2 against Lyon in 2020.
He didn’t play in 2021.
He cost us 2/3 goals against Madrid in 2022.

I already know what’s going to happen in 2023 if he plays a big CL game.
Peps favouritism has got to stop man, Laporte has to go.

John Stones being injured all the time doesn't constitute "favouritism." Laporte has played a lot this season because he took his chance when Stones was out, and because Pep prefers a left-footed player at LCB if Cancelo is playing left-back

If Pep was driven by favouritism he wouldn't have effectively benched Laporte for most of last season

I'm not talking about an isolated incident.
Eric Garcia was preferred over Stones in big games before he left.

Stones was fit at the start of the season and even signed a new contract but Laporte was given the opportunity to 'prove' his worth.

Zinchenko finished last season strongly but up until recently he couldn't get a game, Pep favoured Cancelo who is now obviously exhausted.

Wait, so Pep was wrong for rotating the central defenders and giving Laporte an opportunity, but also wrong for NOT rotating the fullbacks and not giving Zinchenko an opportunity?

Let me help you comprehend.

Have you heard of the saying
'Don't change a winning formula'

Well Stones and Dias got us to a Champions League final and helped us win the league with 3 games remaining, Zinchenko also played the big games towards the end of last season.

Why did Pep suddenly go with Laporte and Cancelo?? Because they threw their toys out the pram and asked for a transfer in the summer.

So yes Pep was wrong for breaking up the Walker-Dias-Stones-Zinchenko partnership.

The only thing I’ve comprehended is you seem to think we can play the same back four 50 times a season, regardless of form and fitness

Lmao! As I thought you're actually an imbecile! You come up with posts that belong on twitter!

Russia entered Ukraine in February the Premier league season started in August, good grief!

Don't try and involve global politics on here, it's obviously way above your pay-grade.
