One of the few who played okay, and seemed to want to win that game.

Great defender but is too slow and pondourus bringing the ball out and creating , he used to play 40/50 yard diagonal balls and he has stopped doing it , ike the rest of the team , very negative.

In a nutshell, it was a slow performance from everybody, hope in a better performing side he picks up pace of passing and going forward, seemed to want that extra touch tonight, maybe cos those around him didn’t seem to look for the ball.hope so.

In his defence I think the lack of movement in front of him contributed to this

It is a bit weird, isn't it? Thought he played really well vs Chelsea too.

Our build up is so poor, relatively, when Laporte isn't out there.

Team play improves so much with Laporte in there.

Happy he's fit. Just a calming presence and helps immensely with the build up. I genuinely forgot he was out there today which says a lot considering he was playing a bit out of position half the match
