Jeeez! In one game it’s become so clear how much Rodri means to this team. Peps game is built on that position, which seems obvious being where he saw the game from as a player.

We have missed an anchor in that midfield since the Arsenal game when Rodri got injured.

Now it seems like we will have 2 to rely upon.

I'm not going to go overboard because that was only his first game but that what you call a DM performance, it's not about trying to dribble past the opponent's midfield or playing hollywood passes, it's about protecting your defence, winning balls and passing it to another blue shirt, he didn't do anything that a good DM wouldn't but because we haven't had a DM since Rodri's injury he looked like a world-beater, shame he didn't play against Madrid in the first leg but he's an automatic starter now.
