Is his arm okay? Would love to see him start vs Spurs
Many of those vertical passes just wouldn’t have been attempted last season. Refreshing to see more impetus and movement.

Indeed. Guardiola has acknowledged that he would like to use Rodri before the international break, but probably only from the bench. The three opening games, Wolves (A) Spurs (H) and Brighton (A), offer distinct challenges for Gonzalez, arguably typical of the games he can expect in a domestic season, so should he get through those unscathed and we take the points, his confidence should soar and there will be less need to hasten Rodri’s return.Definitely a player we can use and as much as we love Rodri, he's not had a backup for years.
We'd love one that can give rest to Rodri!
He's definitely improvingMany of those vertical passes just wouldn’t have been attempted last season. Refreshing to see more impetus and movement.
Stick Dias in that groupA 100m race between him, Rico, Gundo and Bernie would be an interesting and extremely long watch.
Yeah he was very poor.Thought he was one of the big issues today.
It wasn’t that he was bad on the ball, it was that he was rarely available to receive the ball and failed to provide a link between the midfield and attack/defence.
There were so many occasions when the defenders had the ball where he was totally invisible and didn’t even make an effort to show for it.
At the bare minimum you’ve got to be visible and trying to dictate the play. I can forgive having a bad day through things not coming off but not being a shadow. The fastest he moved all day was when he got subbed off.
