I am absolutely distraught. It’s becoming painfully clear that Thomas Partey is still doing Arsenal a favour — one way or another. First, he injures Rodri, and now he’s gone and injured Rodri’s replacement.

I just hope the damage isn’t serious and that he can recover in time to feature on Sunday. We can’t afford another setback right now, especially not in midfield.

Rodri had an indifferent start at City, before turning into the fabulous player that he is. Arguably, Nico has started to emerge a little more quickly than the great man. I rate this player very highly, he has something about him. Then he gets a knock...just fucking pissed off with players starting to get going only to get an injury. Hopefully a knock and a few days intensive treatment will see him right for Villa.

Played well again. Not up against much in their midfield (apart from a load of fouling wankers), but did very well.

Has this fantastic push pass style of passing the ball that's just aesthetically appealing. The pace and accuracy makes it so easy for the receiver.

Rodri was far worst than Nico has ever been. I don’t recall Nico having a bad game for City. He may have had a few average ones, but he’s never put in any stinkers. He’s been steady since we’ve signed him but he’s starting to get better every game he plays.
