Missed this response - I think it just indicates passing while looking in the opposite direction, but I completely agree, the scanning is exactly what we wantMe too but it's absolutely not a no look pass as the title of the video states! It's the opposite and as the video shows he's constantly glancing around him prior to receiving the ball. It's this awareness that makes me think he'll be a top player for us!

There will be room next summer with Bernardo gone and Kovacic in his last year.It was never an issue to begin with.
We had Rodri as the world class starter.
Kovacic as an experienced very good DM that just wasn't as good as balon dor level Rodri.
And Nico G learning the role and slowly growing into it.
We were stacked and set here very early on, losing Rodri and Kova to injury doesn't mean we should buy a 4th DM.

Kova and Bernie go, then we need more midfield options, simple numbers game.

Good and getting better, keep him going, rodri can't recover in his own time and now that kovacic is back pep has to resist the temptation of kovacic as the 6, play him in his natural position in the 8 role and allow nico to continue to learn the 6 role.

It kind of feels with the squad we have that if we get everyone fit and Pep finds the right system to bring the best out of the players we will be there or there about come trophy season. Nico is a very intelligent player who needs the correct mix of players to give him both options further forward and behind. Far better than some -who were calling for him to be sold - and he's still very young.
Today showed again that we look far better playing with just one out and out winger. Pick one of Doku or Savinho based on form and never both as we have far more control of matches when that happens.

Best game I've seen him have for City. Did everything asked of him and was a rock at the base of the midfield. Haven't been his biggest fan since he arrived but today he was very impressive.
