No, Rodri is a defensive midfielder. Spend 30secs watching him before we signed him and you would know that. He's not a deep lying playmaker. If the argument is if he should or not should be in the team then that's fair enough but don't have a go at Rodri for something he is not.

The collective form of this side has nose-dived ever since he came into the fold. People can point to passing stats, interceptions, blah blah blah but the team just does not function to the required level with a fucking crab/snail hybrid at the base of the midfield. His own performances have arguably improved over the fucking disaster of last season but the side just does not function with him and Gundogan next to him. It’s too fucking slow.
