Cancelo joining in as the double pivot and allowing Gundy to roam has completely transformed the side, giving Rodri the cover and making our midfield more fluid and mobile and giving Plodri less ground to cover, narrowing the pitch then allows his composure with the ball to shine through.

Fantastic performance,screened our centre halves brilliantly and allowed Gundogan and Bernardo a freedom to cause carnage.His physical presence is a huge bonus too.

Noticed the latest exocet missile from our 'defensive midfielder' last night.Keeps teasing a screamer, hopefully saving it for a big game.
When he first ever unleashed a cannonball shot from distance ..,against spurs at home start of last season i thought Wow!
We have seen it delivered a few times since then...some goal keeper is gonna have his face taken off before long.Nobody in the country can hit a shot with such power velocity and deadly accuracy as our 'plodding defensive midfielder' which is pretty much how the bbc online sports section introduced the player when he signed......influencing even some of our own supporters intially.not many are having a go now...all silent on that front.all very quiet.
