I was critical of his first 12 months but he's been fucking brilliant for 2-3 months now.

Probably the last time I'm critical of a player in their first 12-18months of signing, seems to take everyone about a year under Pep before they really start shining.

Looking forward to Ferran next season

If Rodri and. Fern are both out it might be worth putting Cancelo in Def mid

I think Stones Is a slightly better option as a DM Infront of Dias and Laporte than Cancelo but both are ok I think. That's if both Fern and Rodri are out of course. We also have Gundo but I'm loving seeing him higher up the pitch, especially in the form he's in.

I would say it was more of a slide rule pass than sideways, but it was a brilliant ball through to Sterling

Fernandinho is one of my favorite players and one of the best signings we’ve made imo. However, he has often struggled against Liverpool and with Rodri, it felt much more composed. I’ve been critical of him many times but he’s becoming better and better and many players have found it difficult the first season under Pep.

taking nothing away from Rodris performance (an easy 9/10), you can’t use that against Fernandinho who played against far better and infinitely more intense Liverpool sides.

and even then had many wonderful games. The 1-0 where he was colossal with Bernardo. The 5-0 etc.

Long term I want to see him replaced with somebody more mobile but Peps done very well to find a way to make it work with the changes he's made and for now it's working well.

I’ll bet you a chip barm that you’ll have a different view in the longer term :)
