I don’t know how there can be any criticism of Rodri this season. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone on the planet in his position with a more perfect skill set for the way we play. And he’s only 24. He’s one of the gems of our squad.
 
He was fine today, the quieter of the midfield 3 but therrs no shame in that he had a good game in his own right but when they play together it becomes so clear how much better Fernandinho is even now. Got a lot to learn still, needs to become a sponge like foden did around silva whilst he's still around.

Nonsense. He wasn't quiet or the weakest of the 3. He was very good. Kevin won with splash plays. But he was every bit as good as Dihno while playing in an advanced position.

Didn't say he was quiet, I said he was the quieter of the trio. Two entirely different things. It's not a dig, the other two were just unbelievable today whilst Rodri was just very good.
 
As we have come to expect, he was very good once again.

Surprised he’s only been booked four times this season though.
