Seeing Gundogan in the opposition line up would have given him an instant boost.

Seeing Gundogan, out of his safety zone, showed just how good a team City have been in the past few years, to enable him to step in for spells without it falling apart & showed how far away he is, from a player who can do anything to effect a game when not propped up by others.

Tbf to him, he kept trying.

I try just to laugh at those who repeatedly think elite players are useless.
If you imagine them in a room with Pep, repeating their posts, and imagine the look on his face , it makes it easier.

I'd happily spend 30 mins with him & some videos of Garcia while he explains it tbf.

You should get Enrique in the same room.
I don't think he is going to be elite, nor do I think both Pep, and the Spanish Manager rate him because he is dogshite.
I watched him read the game very well last night and make some clever interceptions, his passing was quick, and progressive.
However the last ditch defending, and heading part of his game may not develop to the highest level.
Man City ,Barcelona and Spain will begin a fair CV for a 20 year old though.
