You should get Enrique in the same room.
I don't think he is going to be elite, nor do I think both Pep, and the Spanish Manager rate him because he is dogshite.
I watched him read the game very well last night and make some clever interceptions, his passing was quick, and progressive.
However the last ditch defending, and heading part of his game may not develop to the highest level.
Man City ,Barcelona and Spain will begin a fair CV for a 20 year old though.

Whatever his future holds, I'd happily discuss his playing time in our team & his reselection.

I am a huge fan of Rodri since the first game, but it's funny how people rate him after the match - depending on the result :D

If we win - Rodri gets higher rates, for example one of ManCity twitter pages rated him as 8/10 today.
If we loose - Rodri is the worst player that has ever played for ManCity. Same twitter page rated him as 3/10 last week.

For me, he is the most stable player and every match he performs nearly at the same level. There is nothing spontaneous in his game and those long shots aren't surprises as well - because we know that he scores from that distance.. That's why I like this player - because he brings the stability and when you have many players like that - you have more chance to win such difficult marathons like PL and for the manager it's bigger gift - because he knows what to expect. For example there is the different situation with Mahrez.

Of course he is not and never will be Fernandinho - but who is ? How can we buy Fullback in 4-5 years like Kyle Walker ? These are "once in a generation" players and it's obvious that another Kyle Walker won't happen.

But still - Rodri is great and we should be happy to have him..
still true - love this guy

This clip actually perfectly shows how Rodri has to continue to play so that his weakness is not exposed as much, which is his speed.

He is tall, has long legs, and used his body position very well in those clips to escape challenges.

Combine that with the fact that his passing seems to be getting better and better, it shows how good he can be as a single 6, let's hope Pep banishes the double pivot idea for now.

Him, De Bruyne and one other.

Has always been the question.

For some reason Pep does not see it being Bernardo despite a lot of us thinking it would work.

The only player I was proud watching today....

Respect Rodri..

Played game with Spain, scored goal, had brilliant performance but without any
doubt played game on the same level..

Maybe he traveled as well, was tired mentally and etc - but was 100% ready for the game...

And when I am watching some players without will to fight and walking on the pitch like it's nothing and it's football and there are more problems in life than football - I think that's not the type Manchester City needs and that's not the type of players this club was built 10 years ago by Mancini and Kaldoon and others..

I don't seen winning mentality and willingness to die on the pitch for the victory - in most of the players and that's the problem..

Pep will have to do some mental / physical rebuilding job...
