He is a monster of a player , he has the physicality for the Premier league and destroys the opposition midfield in a heartbeat , we have had some special enforcers over the years , Dinho , DeJong , Gow , Doyle and a few more but he is up there with the best in The World.

I ate a slice of humble pie on Rodri a while back. I didn't think he'd make it nevermind excel to the player he has become. Solid and dependable almost every game now. I'm delighted for him.

Wasn't big on him for a while as he seemed like a bit of a plodder, and didn't think he would adapt to the intensity of the Premier League. But like all great players, his footballing intelligence makes up for any lack of speed and running power. He's now one of the first names on our team-sheet. He has obvious strengths but also his height is also a big bonus for us that never gets mentioned.

The guy is a metronome, with an unbelievable ability to read the game. Knows exactly when and where to be on the pitch.

I used to think Kyle was our most important player to allow us to play the way we do. Then Eddie. I now think its Rodri. When I think of some of the early performances and contrast them to how he is now it is wonderful. I said I was wrong about him a couple of seasons ago and happy to repeat that now. He is absolutely world class and I genuinely cant think of another DM I would pick over him.

Pep must have had an influence on his development as well.

His improvement from turns like a tank has been amazing. Needs help mind to avoid a form dip at the end of the season.

Him, Haaland and Silva are the first 3 names I want to see on the team sheet.

Gave the ball away 80 yards from goal, I'm not sure he was to blame for the goal given we had about 5 defenders back just before the shot

Don't think we had that many back,shocking pass which led to an equaliser,dress it up however you like
