He is absolutely imperious.

He wins everything. His passing accuracy is constantly close to 100%. His dribbling, first touch, and aerial ability are brilliant.

He should already be in the conversation as the best DM of the Premier League era.

One of the very best players in the world, no doubt.

The more attacking players always get the plaudits and win the awards but for me he's out on his own in the position he plays.

I always forget he's still relatively young too.

When I was playing football (the american kind, I know, stay with me) there was a thing called 'teach tape'

Essentially it was film coaches would show of the absolute best players, to try teach the intricacies of whatever position or scheme we were meant to learn

So we'd spend all day on the field practicing and then go watch film of the absolute best of the best players, the legends, to see what we were still doing wrong

This was Rodri's teach tape
