He has to deal with a few terriers on his back lately.
A really bizarre performance, i dont think its fair to say tiredness is the issue when he was poor from minute 1 the same as against Palace.
It is incredible that even when he puts in a stinker of a half he can turn it around within the game, most players cant do that. Has he broken any more unbeaten records tonight or is there something on the horizon?
Its fatigue, it just doesn't disappear overnight or in a couple of days. It lingers. It can be both mentally and physically. I blame this on Management. They knew Phillips wasn't good enough to stay or cover for Rodri, but they still kept him for the first half of the season and they never made an effort to sign a DM. Rodri was flogged already from last season and we even saw it in the first half of this season. We were too arrogant not to bring cover for Rodri, knowing very well we play a lot of games. Every position has players that can easily slot in, except the DM. Once Rodders is out, you can see the drop in quality of our player. Why the **** did we not prioritize the most important position of our play style?A really bizarre performance, i dont think its fair to say tiredness is the issue when he was poor from minute 1 the same as against Palace.
