A rest isn't just one game off, he needs a week off from playing or training to recuperate, hes tanked. We can probably not start him this weekend but we can't give him what he needs with so many crucial games ahead.
Then he's got the euros in the summer which he'll play every game hes available. Guy is in serious danger of burnout. We'll have to do what we can to get him through the season then as well as buying an alternative in the summer, we probably need to give him an extended summer break at the expense of a late return

With all the 'experts', technology and testing involved in elite football, it seems impossible that a situation like this should arise.
Plenty of people on here have said for ages that Rodri has been overplayed and looks worn out, so it can't possibly have been missed by an entire team of highly paid, highly experienced coaches etc.
It's rank bad man-management. Khaldoon should be asking very serious questions.

That's all part of the problem that Khaldoon needs to look at.
