A mistake is passing it backwards without looking to an opposing striker, that's not a mistake. It's pure idiocy and there's simply no excuse for it.

No different to when walker stupidly got himself sent off in the champions league few seasons back, pep was livid and he rightly didn't play for a while afterwards. Rodri will play because he's integral to the side but it shouldn't go unpunished. Great player, a moment of stupidity

No doubt the forest player made the most of it but putting your hands around a players neck like that is just asking for trouble

A cheap and unnecessary red card but even the best have moments of stupidity.

Oh well, what's done is done, hopefully he learns from it and controls himself more in future. It's bad enough losing players to injuries but losing arguably our most important player, which has ruled him out of the next few games over something that was completely avoidable is a bit of a blow.
