16 | Rodri 2025/26

Yeah, even our fans overlook his performances sometimes.

Rodri operates in ways that don't catch the eye as much as winning duels with speed or exquisite ball control, and therefore may look a bit ordinary at times: good but not really special.

In reality, he's extraordinary.

No DM/CM in PL history could do what he has been doing since 2022.

Edit: I think Gonzalez can be a top player for us. You need experience and confidence to be outstanding in that position.

Can't really read too much into that, Pep never gives much away with trameframes. Think we all knew he would be unavailable tomorrow regardless and he likely won't play weekend even if available, should be 2 good games for Nico to sharpen up after so little football recently if he is needed for the remainder of the season.

Don’t take any chances let him rest up and recover so he’s ready for Everton and the final few matches

I think it would be beneficial to use these next two matches to get proper minutes into the likes Gonzalez, Foden & RAN which will make our bench and depth even stronger for the final 5 league matches

True.

Even if Rodri's injury is bad enough for him to miss 3-4 weeks Pep may hide it to not encourage Arsenal...

I hope Rodri is available for Everton or at least Bournemouth away.

Probably the best timing if he were to get injured in the run in anyway
Burnley, Saints then 12 days to Everton

Exactly those three for me...
