Speaking about potential, he was potentially shit today for most of the game.

KDB is not a controller of a game, never has been. He is a special player that produces moments of magic time and time again. The problem this season is our game controllers aren’t doing the controlling. Fernandinho is being wasted at CB and Silva isn’t the player he was. So now we are all looking at KBD to be a player he is not.

Looked like had had the PFA PotY on lock before that minor injury against Everton. What the hell happened?

Getting hammered. Being asked...or maybe just trying...to do too much. Sadly, his passing has been a touch off, as has his possession of the ball. Today, neither his corners or free kicks were on the money, either. Looks knackered, and more than a little frustrated at times, but never stops working.

Having him do a little less running around might help him perform better in the areas where he is a game changer, but with Bernardo & Gundogan not at their best, and him being asked to do the high press with Sergio, it is almost impossible to expect him to hit the heights every game.

Honestly thought at times, when we were 3-0 down, he looked around and must have thought I bet it is sunny and warm in Spain right now, and I wouldn’t have to be doing all this donkey work for a few of these lads who aren’t doing it!
