Every other team had a settled preseason?

It's just excuses. Kompany wouldn't do that and Kev, as the captain, shouldn't either.

Yaya scored goals in the same position and KDB doesn't score enough for all his talent.

But he creates chances for other players at a rate better than any other player in the history of the Premier League. Ahead of the likes of Fabregas, Ozil, Silva, Gerrard, Cantona, Henry, Lampard, Touré, and literally any other name you can think of excluding Jordan Henderson probably. His output is the only one on the planet to match Messi's on this front. So even if you think he doesn't score enough, overlooking his creativity seems unfair.

I remember when he used to get a shooting opportunity, more often than not he'd make a keeper work. This season, the number of shots that go flying past the post...

Why do you keep moving the goalposts? De Bruyne himself said it's the same for everyone.

But fans need to chill the fuck out. The players aren't robots. They're equally in need of a rest and lacking match fitness, they're in a bad place. It will come though and so will De Bruyne's form.

I love Kev and he’s been fantastic for us but you only have to look at Sergi, David, Yaya, Vinny etc to know that we’ll keep hold and rely on him for far longer than we should rather than replacing from a position of strength.

I have read a lot of comments here and clear KDB is not playing well right now....but that goes for a lot of others too.
sterling, Foden, Silva, Mahrez, and the list goes on.
can’t expect KDB to do everything and they all need to step up.

it appears he is carrying the weight of the whole team on his shoulders , can't fault his attitude and his effort but he looks exhausted , he needs to be rotated and rested to get him back to his best.
