I know he’s probably short of full match fitness but has he lost a yard ? Wouldn’t be any surprise really, he’s got a lot of miles on the clock and he’s had his fair share of injuries.
As Pep says he needs time and games to find his rhythm after a layoff, so in that regard this will have helped. But not the kind of match you can afford to have such an off game and get away with it.
If he’s going to start Sunday I’d prefer him to play the false 9 role. Not because it’s a position I like him in but I want Foden more involved not wasted up there until KDB gets some sharpness back.
Hoping he’s just finding his rhythm. Would still start him Sunday with Bernardo and Rodri because if he turns up he’s a match winner. Mahrez and Sterling to drop out.
