Referee should have sent him off.

Rubbish challenge, and would have put his nightmare to bed earlier.

Struggled all night, despite the odd moment of quality.
Always takes him a while to get up to speed after being out. Obviously needs minutes, but not sure we can afford to start him on Sunday.

Very bad game..

1) I think he has some weight problem..

2) Doesn't track back. There was moment after the first goal when Mbappe or Neymar played 1 vs 1 against Laporte and he stopped running, just looked how the moment would end instead of going there and helping the teammate. Luckily laporte won that battle but if he hadn't then there was 2:0 or 3:0..

3) Looses the ball easily, that "red card" moment happened due to his error while carrying the ball and making incorrect touch..

In overall except that cross when Sterling hit the bar - he did everything wrong..

The worst part about his game today was that he was quite cowardly with the ball.

Loads of times Sterling or Bernardo would make runs in the box where 2018 KDB would slip them in, and 50% of the time it would get cut out but the other 50% they'd have a shot on goal from the 6 yard box.

He also kept getting the ball in good positions to shoot or pass first time and instead knocked it back to Cancelo and asked him to do something instead.

I can't remember who said they realised they'd seen the best of KDB a week ago or so, but I think I've had the same crushing realisation today and its really sad. I didn't think it would be over at 30 and I didn't expect it to be like this, he's looked like every touch and pass of the ball, every stride he takes is a massive effort for most of this year.

The worst thing is he used to look like he had so much time, he was thinking faster than everyone else and plotting attacks 3 moves ahead and now he just looks normal, rushed even, and having to lunge into his second touch because the first was so bad.

Im desperately hoping this is temporary, maybe the ankle is still causing him issues and he's going to come back and stand head and shoulders above everyone else again soon.

Still offers moments of quality when he has a quiet game. However, he looks like he is still weary of his injury and doesn't look 100% fit.

To me he seems like he keeps the ball longer these days and then loses it because of it. He should release it quicker a lot of times imo.

I’d say it’s pretty premature to write him off and say we’ve seen the best of him.

He has always had the tendency to throw in a shocking performance now and again especially when he’s coming back from an injury.

Lack of power. He was like this this this time last season. It becomes obvious in the biggest games when the intensity in near all out. I don't think it's permanent because he improved last season. I don't think he's got long left in the game though. Could be wrong but he definitely has a problem with his fitness. it shows you how much the pundits know about football because City fans identified this as an issue about 12 months ago.

I don’t think he likes it, he has to. Who is there to pass or create to?

He’s at his best and happiest when he has no time to think and whips in a ball.
