Two bits of absolute quality won us the game but think it's time to accept he's lost that x-factor.

Right at the start of the second half, Haaland won it wide left and played in into Kevin for a one two in behind and Kevin underhit the pass by about 10 yards.

He used to make those passes in his sleep a few years ago but he just can't do it any more which is such a shame.
You should post more

Some of the disrespect on here to KDB.

Out of form yes perhaps, but finished absolutely not.
After last night I'm thinking of changing my description of him (a la the old Music Hall days) from 'KDB.. a smile, a through ball and an assist..' to 'KDB.. a smile, a through ball and a wag of the finger..'

Just when you think you couldn't love the guy much more, he does that with Arteta!

Come on, Kev.. guide us to a third in a row!

Excellent last night

He has been frustrating at times recently because he know the quality is there and nobody is better when he’s on it, we just need to see it as regularly as we once did.

But to me in the past couple of games it looked like he had a bit more fire in him and he needs that.

I expect him to kick on with his form now.

It seems like he's judged by a different standard to other players for some reason. I guess it's a consequence of the incredibly high levels he has set in the past. He wasn't at his best in the first half (not many were) but improved after half-time and once again provided two big moments in our biggest game of the season so far.

I remember people writing him off last season and then he pretty much single handedly carried us to the title when Liverpool came from nowhere and were breathing down our necks. If we want to come out on top this season too we'll need KDB at his best and I'm confident he'll start to go through the gears now the stakes are getting higher.

will be funny if he simultaenously has his worst season at the club and also breaks the assist record lol. i would accept across matches he's not playing well but still has definitive moment or two in him every match.

Guy would Waltz into any top side in the world and they would be thrilled to have him.

Yet a few notable muppets on here have wanted him gone for the last two seasons , he cant play with gundy and bernie apparantly , when it doesnt work, if ever, it is because pep needs to adjust their positions and not kevs fault

It’s more than he’s not got the 90-minute performances but he’s still got the X Factor in flashes that probably nobody else can reach.

True, and its why Pep plays him so often......the positives still outweigh the negatives, but they need to be accounted for and Pep,bizarrely, doesn't always get that midfield blend right.

I reckon if Pep had to chose one current player, not that he would ever say but I believe it would be Kev.
If he went there would be a hole they will struggle to fill.
