Love how when the Big Man bags 5 goals in 60ish mins, KdB still has a moment of pure brilliance that briefly overshadows it...That 2nd goal was similar in build up

Started up front and was struggling a bit, as was the team. Moved him back to midfield, as against Leipzig, and he was excellent and the team came to life.

Please can we stop playing him up top. Doesn't get the best out of him or the team.

Without getting into the debate about whether he’s ‘done’, this is one of the best players the PL has ever seen against a Chanpionship side (albeit a good one).

If he hadn’t been able to dominate the park it would’ve been time for the Old Yella treatment…

Judging by the highlights - and definitely Tuesday - he’s being a lot more dynamic rather than stationary.

Doesn’t seem to be conserving his energy and instead is getting into positions that he’s dangerous in by busting a gut. I think that’s about right too judging by Pep’s comments before and after Tuesday.

I didn’t think I could love anyone like I love David Silva, but Kev is testing me. The man is just a ginger footballing genius. They think it’s all over… he’s just getting better and better.

Beautiful

That pass played from 30 yards away, played at almost the exact moment the defender turns to face the outside, within about two feet of the defenders heels with the perfect weight and curve to arrive exactly where Alvarez is headed is absolutely astonishing and I am not sure I have ever seen anything quite like it.
