This is very sad news but we shouldn’t be too downhearted. In the past few seasons we have had to deal with quite a few KDB absences and we’ve done ok. He’s a wonderful player and obviously we’ll miss him, but we have a lot of other wonderful players and they will step up, just like they always do. We can play with Bernie and Phil either side of Rodri. Stones and Lewis can play on the right side of midfield. Or we can just buy someone.

I think we’ll be just fine until KDB returns, hopefully fully fit and raring to go.

Bad decision to play him at Burnley.

Without saying too much, I know that he himself was surprised to be playing in that game.

However, it may have gone later in the season anyway, which probably would have been even worse.

Fair enough if you have received some information but I just don't see any scenario where Kev is forced to play. Him and Pep have enough respect for each other and Kev is the captain ffs, if he wasn't fit then he would have told Pep.

Exactly, and especially as a senior pro in the squad.

It’s a blow but we are Manchester City and we will overcome. We keep fighting and our team will pull together for not just the club but also to encourage KDB.

In Pep I trust. THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

Important that they give him the time he needs and the correct treatment.

He will be missed but hopefully we will buy a couple of players before the window closes who add some creativity.

Time for Phil to step up big time.
Jack, Bernie, Phil, Rodders, Kova will all have their roles augmented to account for the loss of Kevin. Pep will work out the best way to keep big Erl well fed.

Pep will figure it out. It's a balls alright especially without gundo but with pep I'm confident he'll cook something up

. Lesser managers would crumble if their best player got injured. United would be mid table without casemiro and you saw how Liverpool cope with a couple of injuries.

Considering his playing style and current age, he's very easy to get injured like this even the medical team had confirmed he's fully recovered before the match. Maybe it's time to rebuild the midfield and tactics.
