Who needs the anti-City people in the media when you can get so called City fans spreading bullshit rumours instead.

But to have a totally outsized response to a rumor about mental health (vs all the ridiculous rumors about transfers) perpetuates the feeling that “strong men” can’t have these types of problems. A rumor about a physical injury would never be called bullshit.

I know I may be particularly sensitive about this. But we can’t be proud about the work the club does for mental health and then pretend it’s impossible for our players to have them. Okay, off my soapbox.
