He is finished, gutted to say it, but he is done
Your negativity tonight has been very interesting. Defo a scouser.Hard to watch.
Sad but true.Been saying it and few want to admit it....He is done....he is adding nothing....
Anything else is just nostalgia for a once great player...he needs to finish at the end of this season....he cant run anymore, cant receive the ball in tight spaces and turn...he is consistantly losing possession. Capable of one off moments but he is more of a hinderance now
The really sad thing for me is that he's fit to play but looks nowhere near match fit. Dare I say he's carrying more than a bit of timber and needs to get properly fit and lose weight.Been saying it and few want to admit it....He is done....he is adding nothing....

That won't happen. Better hope Foden can get back to last year's form and health. Get 2 CMs and hope Bibb comes back looking like preseason.Only way we finish top 4 at this rate is if we get a last dance out of him
I agree, but I think there is still enough magic in those boots to find a starting role for KdB. He simply can't start in midfield with Gundogan though, similiarily to when Otamendi and Stones needed to be separated in 19/20. Just doesn't work anymore, age has morphed them into players that isn't compatible with success in midfield. I also agree that Bernardo offers nothing in thah dynamic now. That won't happen. Expect nothing but good cameos from our aging stars.
Kevin, Gundo and Bernardo should be coming off the bench to finish games. And never more than one of them should start in any game
The magic is with the youth not the aged.
No use unless he gets himself match fit, which he clearly isn't.I agree, but I think there is still enough magic in those boots to find a starting role for KdB. Best case scenario we move Gundogan on in january, phase out Bernardo but let Kev provide a spark offensively while we provide him with energy around him. Because we won't replace what he can give us with another player midseason
