I’ve had a season ticket at City for over 30 years and can also assure you I’m a lot more intelligent than you are.

You can’t even say what your team and formation would be despite being the one going on about it needing to change and with younger players plucked from thin air.

To be honest, you could have just said what your midfield would be and the conversation would have carried on a normal course but because you couldn’t back up anything you were saying you went off the rails and started waffling on about a computer game and accusing me of being a ‘Lewis fan’. Extremely odd.

I consider you to be low hanging fruit, but I doubt you have even twigged that. I don't want to be too rude or make you look too naive but you're making it fucking hard :)
 
Its becoming harder and harder to watch him in games now. His body is just not up to it anymore and it's impacting the effect he has on games.

Had he retired for Belgium after the last world cup it may have allowed his body the rest/down time needed and would have likely prolonged his city career. Instead, it now looks like he will leave in the summer and its hard to argue that that wouldn't be the best case for all parties.
 
He's already receiving the Casemiro treatment online, I fear it will only get worse if he stays for next season too.

 
I don't think he will stay next season , he is a all action midfielder unlike Modric who never relied on pace and physicality .He is not someone who will be happy with a bit part role next season

If Pep would stop killing the Golden Goose by playing him as the pressing second striker, he would be fine. I’ve said for years that Pep needed to protect him from himself, because he’s a runner.

I’d love to see his activity stats for a game, esp his sprinting.

You’d like to think we’ve learned on that front by now.Vinnie left at the perfect time, Sergio left at the right time. Gundo couldn’t have left at a more perfect time. We’ve seen with his return how it ends up having someone who’s passed it. Then when you also think of the wages KDB would free up. I’d like to think we’ll have learned our lesson and will say goodbye to both legends this summer.

This is City remember though, as we’ve seen sentiment always wins over cloudy judgements, I fully agree there’s a few who we need to say all the best to, but all as I mean is I wouldn’t be surprised if he still has a playing role with us next season.
 
Very strange.

Have him and Pep had a fallen out? Is he just unfit?

He could have easily performed a false 9 role.
