Incredible player, the best of his generation in the role he plays. Laughable that people talk about Premier League greats and try to put Gerrard, Lampard and Scholes on his level. They're not even close and they were fine players, no doubt.
He's not replaceable but that's football, some players aren't. It doesn't mean you can't be a great team, you just have to be smart enough to have a different approach rather than directly attempt to replace someone that good.
Anyway, that's sport, no matter how good you once were, age or injuries gets them all in the end and things move on.
We just have to appreciate how lucky we were to have him for so long and in his prime because you don't get many of his calibre in the history of a club.
