Anyway, it's a huge improvement on the two away kits we had last season regardless of what people think of the colour tone.

Neither are a perfect maroon. That 2012/13 kit was much darker than previous 'maroon' kits.

The new one isn't pink either, or close to it, despite what has been implanted into your mind.

Perhaps the light is making it a bit brighter. Here's a clearer image.

Not really bothered if it is, or looks like, pink as I like the kit.

The most important thing to me is that the home kit looks like a City kit.
