I thought it was a lot off. The save was good thoughDistribution was a bit off today, needs to be better than that if ederson is unavailable against arsenal or in the semi final but otherwise another solid reliable performance.
It definitely wasnt near the level he shown against luton and im largely in agreement but i think that's a tad harsh.I thought it was a lot off. The save was good though
There are plenty of games where Ederson's radar is way off, but for whatever reason it never gets mentioned. It definitely wasnt near the level he shown against luton and im largely in agreement but i think that's a tad harsh.
We tend to evaluate our keepers distribution based on the freakishly high standards ederson typically sets and almost normalise the exceptional, if we compared it to the rest you'd struggle to find anything better.
Newcastle fans are probably going home thinking our keepers distribution was one of the best they've seen all season.
Not at the same level in terms of distribution and in this side that's what makes Ederson No1 and rightly so.He can match what Ederson does without the kamikazi moments.
I was watching highlights of the Bayern game yesterday and had exactly the same thought. It's uncanny. It's the saves where the ball is close to him and he remains upright but sticks a really strong arm out. Looks exactly like Neuer.I'm pretty comfortable every time he starts for us. You can tell he's had some excellent coaching from his footwork and body shape on one on ones. I don't know if it's a general Bundesliga thing or he's had the same coaching as Manuel Neuer because his movements are almost identical when it comes to facing shots.
