Can't read too much into a friendly. He's been more than solid for us when needed in proper games.

Of course if Ederson goes, we're going to have to accept Ortega isn't really as good with his feet, but you could bring in any other keeper in the world and they also won't be as good as Ederson with their feet. It's just a reality the fans have will to accept.

If ever there was a time to break our duck at that stadium, it was then.

Tbf it’s a miracle we kept him in each of the last 2 summers. Inevitable that this time he leaves. Getting 3 years out of him was 2 years longer than expected.

As long as Pep is here, Ederson will be number 1.
If Pep were to leave at end of this season, it might give Ortega more of a chance of getting the no 1 spot.

He'd expect to save their second, good goal but he'll be disappointed to let that in. Otherwise decent enough sweeping and some good although admittedly comfortable saves from the multiple times they got through, he really shouldn't have even been given a chance to save those.

Some great saves, but the one he should have saved was the winner. He's a very good back up.
