Don’t worry I’ve still never failed getting a ticket so it’s served me wellYou ain’t gonna get a sympathy from the boomers on here, pal. The most selfish generation there’s ever been! ;)

An odd take on the topic but my point was that the poster appears to have been lucky to have been taken to football games early on to be able to accrue such a total (unless it really is possible to get to that amount in 8 seasons, in which case well done), whereas many haven't but that's how life works. Expecting to go to every away game because you have more points than others could be described as being selfish as well. You ain’t gonna get an sympathy from the boomers on here, pal. The system is arbitrary allocating to those 18-25 and needs looking at for that bracket.
The ones who boast about getting them every time will be 26 before they know it and then complain.
If they all went to points people on 17k could get to every game, and with the child pull through a lot of 18 to 25s will be on a decent number of points losing out to others with next to zero.
I only found out in 2008 and it was discretionary and you had to turn up at the ticket office, however most of the first window buyers were in the same block and it was just visible the number of kids. So no data.Is there a reliable figure as to roughy how many child pull throughs are available generally?
Someone once told me that it is an option open for the entirety of the first window and first window only, regardless of the take up. I’ve no idea where he got that info from though. Seems a bit unlikely to me.

It wasn't made public until the 2011 Semi, which meant it was then available via phone, and once it became available via the website and you could chose the block there is no way of telling. Still plenty of young kids at some aways, however some may be on adult tickets.
I have said this before, if there was a transparent Allocations Policy which covered these things it would be better.
same as....I'm slipping further back by the year.Under 25 and 18k points? That's not bad. Reckon I might get there by 2045 as long as I don't kick the bucket first.
;)
In theory we were told it was 5% of the entire allocation and that it was being taken for the supposed pot allocated to points holders. What we do know and the club are refusing to be transparent about is that the 60% that was supposed to go to points holders is no longer the case and was apparently about 35% for the derby. I personally know of a number of people going to the game (under 16s as well as adults) who received tickets from 'someone they know at the club'. When we are told that the tickets are split between Season Ticket Members, Seasonal Hospitality Members, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the Man City Supporters Club nobody knows the split these days. It does appear though that for the derby, dippers etc away games that the Seasonal Hospitality Members, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners allocation seems to increase dramatically. Not sure why the owner needs a ticket nor the directors so who gets there allocation. Is the allocation of 5% of the 18-25 scheme the whole away end allocation or is it just the 5% of the tickets that go to the actual points system?
