18 to 25 age group away tickets.

Tried and failed again this morning to get a (18-25 year old) ticket for my son for Fulham. I was on it quick bang on 9am, selected ticket within seconds and got to next window but never got an option for that bracket. If I was fast enough would I see an option for 18-25 in this drop down or should I have clicked on something else. All I got was the "Assing owners ....." box. Just want to know for next time if I am missing something.

Never been successful yet in trying to get my 18 year old son a ticket through this window

It is the same people who can do it quickly are successful. A ridiculous system.

I've not missed one all season on this and even I failed this morning. I've seen a few others on twitter who have had the same issue.

I failed as well, despite having a ticket in the basket within 30 seconds or less. I can get one but don't want to leave daughter behind. Dilemma is now do I get one and hope for a spare or not. Also should be said that less than half the allocated tickets were on sale to points holders so yet another jolly in London for the corporate.

When you've been successful does it give an option for 18-25 in that drop down ? Or is it something else/somewhere else to select ? What I mean is, if this is all I saw does it mean that allocaion has already sold out. I must have been on that window within 10 secs so thinking I must have missed selecting something. Thanks

No so basically when you're assigning the ticket to the person aged 18-25 must fit in the age category which is set by the home club - this varies game by game. So for this someone who is 22 years old on city's database would be in the adult category, but for other games like southampton I think the age bracket was young adult and it was £27 for an 18-25 ticket.

This morning though I believe there was an error in the system as I refreshed bang on 9 and assigned tickets as I normally do, but I got an error message saying 'the quantity of tickets owned by ... has exceeded limitations' as if I had already purchased one, which was wrong.

Was hoping to do 38/38 this season but looks like this could be the one to let me down unfortunately.

Thanks a lot for the info mate. I received a DM from someone saying the same and same about the error. So guessing I did do everything right, got the same error msg as you. And seems I gave up before they fixed the error and let people buy.

I did it for the first time today for my daughter, it was a bit of a faff but it did work. It gave me a 20 minute retention of ticket in the basket so that gives you time to work out what’s going on. I had to assign it to her then re assign it to me then back to her a few times as it wasn’t allowing her to purchase even though she is in the correct age group. It’s done now.
The retention in a basket doesn't mean the allocation won't sell out for 18-25 year olds, seems like a fluke today, they normally go within 30 secs, in basket or not.

@Colin Bells Holdall Same as what Corky has said. I kept mine in my basket while trying to work out if I was selecting right age bracket. It was still in my basket when I eventually saw the banner at the top saying "18-25 allocation sold out". Well done to you for getting one. From what others have said it looks like while you were re-assigning between you and your daughter they switched on the 18-25 sales and you timed it perfectly.

yep as corky alluded to, the 20 minutes means nothing.

on a usual day when the website is working fine if you haven't checked out and paid for you tickets at 30 seconds past 9:00am then the likelihood is that the allocation is gone.
