18 Years Ago Today

I was there on my own that night, was pretty tasty outside afterwards. We were let out but the spurs fans were looking for it big time so the coppers shut the gates for a few mins. When we were let out it was very fucking difficult not to smile whilst walking past spurs cunts looking for City fans.
 
Most people at the game did not know Barton had been sent off, a good proportion left at half time, and Arnie was bobbins as he was in his 2nd and last game too.

3 shots 3 goals first half, dived under two free kicks and scrabbled back for the poor header off the second one to recover.

Next game 3 shots and 3 goals down again. He didn't play again as James had been bought but was cup tied, he did his best but was semi-pro level.
 
Stayed in my seat til half time and then went in the bogs to inform those that had missed it that Joey Barton had been sent off to compound the misery. " Don't worry " I exclaimed loudly " We will still win this 4-3 "!!! I nearly got lynched but I never throw the towel in where City are concerned. Special night that was indeed.
