People like Boris Becker's Backhand hasn't got a f***ing clue about the banner, the effort, the work, the meetings, and the personal time that went into discussing, designing, planning, making, and displaying the banner. Yet here he is wanting his 5 minutes of BM fame, Mr I joined on the 3rd of Feb 2020, with 627 posts to date, pontificating and criticising the banner, the City fans behind it, and the City fans who paid for it, which includes me.

Let me tell you something Boris. This isn't about you V City fans. This isn't about City fans V City fans on BM. This is about Manchester City Football Club and City fans V UEFA and their cartel clubs, who are all hell bent on destroying City, and in the process, destroying the hopes and dreams of all City fans.

I don't give a s*** how UEFA and their cartel clubs react to the banner. We'll never know. But it sends a clear message to them that City fans are 100% behind the club in their fight against UEFA and their cartel clubs.

So Boris. Wind your neck in, stop shouting, and instead support the club, support the City fans who paid for the banner, and support the City fans who have worked tirelessly on the QT to make the banner happen.

At the end of the day we are all City fans, and we all support the club in it's fight against UEFA and their cartel clubs, who are all hell bent on destroying Manchester City Football Club.

Was anybody wondering why you stopped posting or even aware that you had ? What is it you hostile types find so fascinating about join dates ? What exactly is your point regarding that ?

Had you taken the trouble to read my posts before your head exploded with rage you’d have seen that I didn’t criticise the fans involved in commissioning the banner at all. I was criticising the website’s over serious reporting of a fairly mundane event.

I’ve got every respect for the 1894 lads and I feel for them. I’m mid 40s and my generation just rocked up to the match and took it for granted that on the big occasions the place would be bouncing. We didn’t have to deal with the sanitisation of the game, the pre match cheese, the overzealous stewarding, the passionless JCLs, the stupid kick off times etc etc. The 1894 lads from what little knowledge I have seem to put in a great shift with all their various initiatives and good luck to em.

I do support the club but shouty types like you need to realise that we don’t all have to be the same, there’s no such thing as an identikit supporter. Some get to the games, some don’t, some boo the CL jingle some don’t, some stay til the end, some don’t, some bring huge banners to the match, some get annoyed that the banner stops them seeing the game for a few seconds, some people sing non stop, some spend half the game posturing at away fans, some people spend half the game on the concourse, some don’t.

So basically you don’t address any of my points because you haven’t got a leg to stand on.

Wasn’t trying to belittle them at all. If I’ve underestimated how many people are involved then my bad but either way it’s just a banner
