1894 Group: We need a big atmosphere next week v Spurs

you mean the fans who have been going since the 60's?

If you want to organise a better atmos....crack on......Those days are long gone unless you bring back standing, lower ticket prices and lots of other shit that stops us ballooning around like the old days

Ah, the Johnny-cum-latelies! We FOCs from the 50's sing ourselves hoarse. If yer all followed our example the roof of The Etihad would be over the bridge and have to be retrieved from Portland Basin!

We need to sell a lot more tickets in the next week. Last year at the same stage the atmosphere was brilliant despite being 3 down from first leg. Hopefully the same for Spurs. Get buying Blues.
The club are fvcked charging mad prices for a home game against non glamorous opposition. No way we’ll sell out. What the fvck is wrong with them.

They live with their heads in the clouds mate. They aren’t part of normal society and just don’t understand what a normal football fanbase is about.

There is no need to charge mad ticket prices .They do it because they can.The people who run our club have done brilliant things for us but are clueless or useless when it comes to matchday ticket prices

As a one off match, Spurs at home in the quarter final of the champions league is a very attractive fixture. However, it's not a one off match. If we get to the final, that will be the 63rd game of the season. It's costing an absolute fortune. (600 euros for the most expensive tickets for the final by the way) Looking at the availability in 302-305, 306 & 316 - 318, I think we will do very well to sell out. If we don't sell out the atmosphere suffers. It all comes down to cost. Just because other clubs charge similar prices for games like this doesn't justify City doing it. I'm not saying that we should be let in for free, I just feel that some common sense pricing after such a long expensive season would have been really appreciated by us all.

Charging between £50-£70 for a home game against Spurs who we then play in three days later is scandalous. Ticket sales are such a small part of revenue yet the prices have never been more exorbitant.

Yeah true and we'll probably be one of the only clubs that once again put up season tickets again to just try and squeeze a bit more out of us. Like they fucking need it.
