UPDATE

Hi everyone. Yesterday was dissapointing result-wise, but I think we all have known the league has been gone for a while now. That adds extra importance to our cup runs this year.

1894 group have organised another singing section for the Champions League game against Real Madrid at the Etihad stadium. We have a small number of tickets available for people willing to sing and support the team in block 115 near the front. We are speaking to the club about reserving seats for 1894 members when the season card renewals begin. Obviously it's still got a lot of planning to go into it. If we manage to work something out with the club it will be on here, or you'll see it on either our facebook or twitter accounts. :)

Good fairy story but the bent refs of europe would never allow it. Last years quarter final is an example of how we are treated in Europe.

The season before’s against Liverpool, certainly.

Last season against Spurs we were given a penalty, had a goal allowed against us which by the letter of the law is a goal (it hit his arm and then his hip and then went in, that’s not hand ball), and had an offside goal chalked off for offside.

In the league it was a different matter because the handball was not handball by the laws of the game and Jesus’ winner should have stood. And against Liverpool the year before:

Salah was offside for his goal - should have been disallowed
David Silva was brought down - should have been a pen
Sterling was brought down - should have been a pen
Jesus was onside - goal should have stood
Milner hand balled it - should have been a pen
Milner played the ball back, Sané was onside - goal should have stood

Nowt up with the Spurs CL games though. Oh apart from Vertongen encroached and cleared the ball so our penalty should have been retaken.

There are 4-5 empty seats on row 3 of pretty much every non "big" home game....last few weeks they have had Canadians and other Johnny Come Latelys in them

Not read the whole thread, but would a banner that said INNOCENT which was surrounded by images of Yaya, Vinny, Zabba, David, Sergio, Pep, Mancini be permissible?

Nothing controversial or offensive about that and it would be highly effective.
