He's been invisible in almost all games this year. Another example he had 26 touches in 90 minutes against Villa. 48 against United. No assists, no key passes 1 tackle.

0 goals 5 assists in 31 games. If his name was Jack grealish people would be losing their mind.

All this is stats, but just watching him play as a false 9 like he did on Friday was one of the saddest performances I've seen in a long time.

He was visible when we put in our best performances this season, e.g., Chelsea and Newcastle at home. Not in terms of goals but in terms of setting the tempo and organising the game. As a pure midfielder he's better than KdB who is more of an attacker these days.

Grealish doesn't have Gundo's intelligence, professionalism and leadership qualities. That goes some way in explaining why Pep plays Gundo. The fact that we can finish 2nd and win the FA Cup after a disastrous season injuries wise shows Pep might be doing something right after all.

Yes, we need better players than Gundo. He is turning 35 and hopefully won't be more than a squad member next season.

It's been rumoured for years that he wants to finish in Turkey, he's got loads of family there. Personally i think it depends on whether he would be content with potentially just being a cup player and helping out Pep in training more, because he's a clever guy and that seems his natural next move in life.

He’s definitely going to end up in management.

He did his badges and coached our EDS as a little side quest while captaining a treble winning team.

Nobody is saying he should be starting every game but when surrounded with players who are actually performing, he can still have a role to play.

And the leadership qualities in the dressing room are priceless even if he doesn’t play much - same with our previous proper captains in Ferna and Vinny.

Keeping him around for another year is a no brainer. Then maybe off to turkey for a year and back to city as a coach.

It’s not enough though we need KDB and probably 2 maybe 3 others just to bring in 2 into the free list. And Grealish to go to bring in MGW.Really need Gundogan , Silva and Kovacic maybe Nunes too to give us real room for Wirtz, Rejnders and Cambiaso or any other non home grown fullback.

Our midfield should be Rodri, Gonzalez and Kova plus 3 in coming. Hopefully Wirtz, Reijnders and Gibbzy.

Doubt we'd get all 3, preferably Wirtz and Reijnders but wouldn't mind MGW if Wirtz falls through. A Reijnders-Rodri-Wirtz midfield trio would be insane though

Midfield depth of Wirtz, Reijnders,Rodri,Nico,Foden, O'Reilly,Nunes,Kovacic,Lewis seems good to me

Right back is almost a certainty. We lost Kyle and while Nunes made do, i think we'll get someone in.

This is why I see Cambiaso as so desireable by the club.

I'd definitely go for Livramento, not sure if Newcastle will budge there though.

If we don’t get champions league and it’s very possible then we could struggle to get any of the big names in . We fucking had in in our grasp and let it slip .
