Argentina's team plane just landed in Buenos Aires, go to youtube, search argentina, choose the 'live' filter ... and you can pick from several live feeds of the welcome back home

Dont expect him to play until at least mid january (united game i guess)

I've never seen this mentioned in the JA thread, happened a year ago, kinda interesting ...

"When he heard we were from Germany, he said: 'I know, I have an offer from Bayern Munich' - I also recommend FC Köln to him (as she's from Köln). But I'm not going to be a player's agent in South America now (laughs)"

How do we get this guy into the first 11, we have to, surely? Surely he would be wasted out wide? Which means we need to change things up a bit. Maybe dropping an 8 and having KDB in a 6/8 hybrid and Alvarez as a 10/8 hybrid off Haaland? Hopefully Pep has some ideas.

There is no doubt pep loves Alvarez a lot . Considering his form in the world cup, pep must surely find a way to integrate him with the starting 11.

I can't believe he was one of the 3 players (others being macalister and Enzo) who transformed that Argentine starting 11 after the Saudi & Mexico game. Argentina just looked better with them.

their midfield for the past 3 years collapsed at the cup, lo celso didnt even travel due to injury, paredes was out of shape and form and de paul was playing on one leg for most of the tournament. Add that to Lautaro being abysmal and without those 3 they dont even have a chance at getting out of the group
