Even though alot of talk is about getting him with Foden and Haaland on the pitch, I'd also be much better with the idea of it not being 1 of Haaland or Alvarez (giving him 50% or less games likely), and have the situation change so that we play any 2 up top of Haaland, Alvarez AND Foden (who plays better when closer to the box).

This still would give all 3 tons of game time, rotating 3 players in 2 spots is also much easier for players to accept imo, as your not really a sub player at that point. Somewhat similar to how Gundogan, KdB and Bernie are our 3 8's in 2 spots, nobody is truly a full starter (KdB the slight edge) and all 3 just play alot instead.

Haaland - Foden, Alvarez - Foden, Haaland - Alvarez, all 3 of these are great options up top in our 442 press. There is the chance to play all 3 as well if Foden just goes to the wing.

This would also have us play KdB deeper, which I believe is better for him long term, he usually is the one playing next to the #9, but he needs a deeper role for his future.

This is my ideal future squad (couple of years after older players are slowly phased out and defensive re-shuffling):

Ederson/Ortega

Walker/Cancelo (defensive and offensive right back option)
Stones/Akanji
Dias/Gvardiol
Ake/Gomez (defensive and offensive left back option)

*Rotate between defensive leftback with offensive rightback or vice versa, or play double offensive if teams are sitting ultra deep and want both wingers inside.
*Walker I imagine has a solid 5 years due to his pace and ability to play inside as a CB

Palmer/Diaby (we do well with Bundesliga, or Academy winger like Mebude)
Enzo/Bellingham
Rodri/Phillips
Grealish/Academy wingers like Borges and Ndala

Alvarez/Haaland/Foden (2 out of 3)

Add in the 33 year old veterans (this squad for a couple years in if you want), but this looks like an amazing team in like 2 years or so.

0:15 mark. Believe it or not, that's our own Julian Álvarez. We need a photo of this epic moment ×D

He’s almost completed football already

Only 3 players in the history of football have ever won the World Cup, Copa America, Copa Libertadores and the UEFA Champions League:

Cafu
Dida
Ronaldinho

If Alvarez wins the CL with us, he becomes only the 4th player ever to do it… he’s 22.

That’s where all the trouble began... That smile. That damn smile.

Did you see the rag wiring from Kennedy’s electric trying to take him out on the tour bus… dark forces afoot there, they’ll try anything to take us out…

Superstar performance from the Tevez hybrid in the World Cup, I think we are all astounded he has more energy than Gabby and Bernardo combined, never seen anything like it… we have to find him a spot as he unnerves the shit out of opposition!

[Olé] Iván Zamorano: "Julián Álvarez is a more complete forward than Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland. Haaland is not good on the wings. And Mbappé does not participate much as a number 9. Julian does all of that."
