As I've said elsewhere, it's all a matter of how long he's prepared to sit on the bench watching the likes of Mahrez and Grealish, and to some extent Cole Palmer, starting ahead of him.
He won't want to sit around playing second fiddle to Haaland, only getting starts in FA and Carabao cup matches. He's here to play. If he doesn't get regular starts, I can see him wanting away and being sold at a huge profit, along similar lines to Ferran Torres.
Pep has to find a way to start both Alvarez and Haaland regularly, preferably at the expense of Mahrez or Grealish.
I'll be pissed off if he doesn't start tomorrow night alongside Haaland and Foden.
