He’s a young lad who we have no idea how good he will be. So far:

He played excellently against Forest and Sevilla
Played well against Chelsea at the weekend and against Fulham
Did okay against Copenhagen at home
Was anonymous against Leicester Copenhagen Dortmund and Southampton aways, started all of them.

Other than that he’s had little anonymous cameos as a sub.

He’s been anonymous more than anything in his time with us so far, with the odd flashes of good games and two excellent games. But we, as a team, haven’t been ‘at it’ this season at all. If we’d have been better and more settled as a team, he’d have a better base to work from.

Let’s see if he can increase the consistency of games like Chelsea and Fulham and add another couple of Sevilla and Forest performances before the end of the season.

The whole team was shite, never in a good position to be useful to the Team and teammates barely passed the ball to him.

Haarland, Aguero, Alvarez.......it wouldn't have mattered who was up front last night because we are far too slow and predictable in our build up play that the Centre Forward usually gets no service whatsoever.

The Forward gets so isolated because unless Mahrez plays we are virtually playing with one out and out forward.

Reminds me of Foden in his first two seasons.

First to be dropped or overlooked until he can present an overwhelming case for inclusion.

My concern is that he may eventually get pissed off. Foden was a City fan and quite pliable.

Not saying he should be the first name on the team sheet but neither am I convinced that we know how to get the best out of him.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone in the summer. It will be an easy to transfer to do…good player, young, low wages, not playing enough and would probably fetch upwards of £60m to put in the kitty. It feels like it could be another Ferran Torres situation (he’s much better than Torres).

I fear he's going to suffer from 'Gabby' syndrome.

Never getting a constant run and being asked to do a job for the team when he does.

He's a player that deserves and needs a place in an 11.

I'd probably start by playing him on Saturday, simply for his aggression and tenacity.

He would have been far more useful and productive than the completely ignored Haaland. At the very least Pep should have brought him on after our goal to help shore things up.
