He never stopped trying, had very little service until KdB came in, he had to go back to half court to get any before that. The team (specially the midfield) has been atrocious for quite some time now, both him and Haaland will suffer a lot if this situation doesn't change soon.

Almost it for me, drop Bernie who for me has been a nonentity and push Foden back central, think both he and Grealish have the legs to boss that midfield.

I think so too, in the first half he was forced to step back to almost the half court all the time in order go be able to touch the ball, the midfield was totally stagnant and useless throughout the whole game.
